Wall Stickers

I'm struggling with wall stickers. Since they became popular as the trendy (if a little lazy) alternative to wallpaper I've loved them and hated them in equal measure.

Hate is...



...gross.

I'm having to confront this issue as now I have the perfect place for a wall sticker...I think. Our hallway is, at the moment, bleak. It doesn't say "welcome to our warm, cosy (and a little bit trendy) home", it says "our house is sanitary. Please take off your shoes". The problem is that it's too narrow to put photos up on the wall because you end up standing so close to them you can virtually make out each pixel. Any large painting makes the hall look narrower that it already is and furniture would mean we'd have to walk sideways past it just to get to the rest of the house. I am, however in no doubt that we need something to take attention away from the crusty, leaky old radiator that dominates at the moment.

I've decided that wall stickers will solve my hallway conundrum, they even make them specifically for hallways...

is quite good but too monochrome.

I've just not found the right one...argh. I won't give up, i will find a lovely sticker that doesn't demand I relax/ eat/ laugh or do anything else whilst I'm running out of the door. Watch this space.
...I do still like those dandelions though.
